The article i read about Zimbabwe and their corruption was pretty surprising because of the major problems they have and are facing in today's day in society. First, half of their nation is malnourished which means many many people don't recieve enough nutrition from the food they consume. Hospital surgeries have stopped due to the lack of Anesthesia. The Mugabe Government seized white-owned commerical farms which as a result, sent the economy into freefall. The bus fair to and from work consumes people's entire salaries. The prices of items rose 223% in just one week, which made it so people aren't able to buy as many things with their money because it's too expensive. The corn crop harvest was among the worst one in history. Lastly, 82 year old Mugabe has rejected all calls for economic reform which makes it so things can't get better for the country. These are all points that make Zimbabwe a country where poverty is a huge problem due to the bad government and corrupt leadership from Mugabe.
