Day2 — Landry, France

Day2 — Landry, France:

Landry, France

Where I stayed
With Tania's Dad

After more than 24 hours flying and only 1 hour asleep, I
was very tired, but excited to see Tania. She met at the airport and Taig
Didier and I went out separate ways. It was 2 hours travel to Landry, but I had
gotten my second wind and we talked most of the way. By the time we were at her
home it was almost lunch time, and we had a huge curry ricey thing, it was
really nice. I then had an afternoon nap, before waking up at 4. I met
Jacqueline and got a huge box of chocolates, that should keep me going for the
next few days. We had an early dinner at 7, just for me so I could get back to
sleep.

I woke up at 7 busting for the toilet, but when I
returned I was unable to get back to sleep, leaving me tired for the rest of
the day. I had the traditional croissant for breakfast, and then I got what I
had been waiting for and dying without, wifi. I then went for a walk wit Tania
and the dog. The snow was so light that it was hard to walk in, with every step
your feet sinking into the snow. Tania pushed me in the snow so by the time I
got back the snow had melted on me and I was wet. I spoke to you guys and then
had lunch. I'm finding that I eat a lot less then the French, as I was unable
again to finish my meal. After lunch played awale, an African game with Tania
and then we headed off to the plange to see the bobsled World Cup. It was
fantastic, the Canadiens won and because the weather was bad there was hardly
anyone there, and the competitors were just in the crowd at the award ceremony
like everyone else. For a World Cup it seemed very low key. Remi (Tania's dad)
said to look on the sport channels and see if the bobsled is there. After we
went up the mountain to find a Christmas. Remi bought the tiniest saw with him
it took a while for him to chop it down even though the tree was small. When
returned home we decorated the tree and I met clementine, Tania's sister. After
such a big day I'm do tired even though its only 9:30.
