Still in Transhit — Santiago, Chile
Hola...
Been going for about 28 hours since waking up at 2:45am yesterday.
Brisbane to Sydney to Auckland to Santiago... and leaving for Lima in 3 hours.
Flight was bearable (gracias Stilnox)... and hoping it will minimise the jet lag.
I am struggling with my Spanish! I am confident enough to say "Hola, ¿como estas?" and then I revert to an ignorant Australian... maybe because everyone I have spoken to thus far is bilingual.
Chile looks pretty with snow covered mountains as far as the eye can see... I will have to come back soon :) . I booked a window seat for the next section so I can enjoy the views (without realising the views will be non-existant at 9:30pm) lol. Soy muy intelegente.
