Stamford Bridge veteran set for Parc des Princes move?

Ashley Cole will be offered a pre-contract agreement with Paris Saint-Germain in January.
And Sunday Mirror Sport understands there are currently no new talks planned between Chelsea and Cole before the New Year, when he will be free to talk to foreign clubs.
Roman Abramovich is reported to have told players in their 30s that they will not be offered longer than one-year deals.

Given the service Ashley Cole has given Chelsea and the undoubted ability the full-back still possesses it is perhaps surprising that the Blues are not ready to alter their attitude to players over the age of 30, perhaps the feeling is that if they set such a precedent they could be setting.
The 31 year old is into his seventh season at Stamford Bridge and has been a virtual ever present since day one. Though Roberto Di Matteo does have the up and coming Ryan Bertrand to call upon one would imagine that the Chelsea boss would like to keep hold of the England international but Cole may not be keen to commit to just a rolling one year deal from here on in.
PSG can of course offer obscene sums to lure the former Arsenal man to Ligue 1 and it helps that former Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti is at the Parc des Princes helm. Come January it will become all the more clear just how far the Parisian club has come.
The club's Qatari owners clearly have designs beyond merely conquering the French domestic league and having brought in the likes of Thiago Silva, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Lucas Moura one wouldn't bet against PSG being a force to be reckoned with in due course.
